How Did this Begin?
Dr. Abernethy’s mother lost her fight to cancer a few months ago. Dr. A has started a foundation called “Judy’s Bubbles” and we want to thank all who have and who will support this mission!
Please read this message from Dr. Abernethy:
“If anyone remotely knew my mom, Judy, you would have immediately seen her light, a true love of teaching children, and the uncanny ability to spread laughter and joy to everyone around her. Even while undergoing chemotherapy treatments, she would go in with gusto!!
By theming each chemo treatment (“Nemo Chemo” is an example) she would charge into the hospital fully equipped with goggles, bubbles, “Under the Sea” music and goldfish crackers! Regardless of how she was feeling, Judy was determined to continue to put smiles on all of the doctors, hospital team, and other patients around her!”
